We were delighted to host our inaugural Indian Wealth Management Forum in Mumbai in September 2011.
More than 450 professionals heard the views of leading practitioners, market experts and product specialists on many of the key issues confronting the industry – in an interesting, educational and practical way.
In-depth presentations and free-flowing panel discussions considered what the Indian private banking and wealth management landscape will look like in the future – and who might be the winners and losers. Among the many opportunities and challenges discussed, the forum looked at the search for talent, and how to profitably scale businesses and platforms in an efficient way, yet also ensuring firms have robust and effective front-office controls in place to avoid falling foul of the regulators.
